Once on the page, choose your device model: Trezor Model T or Trezor One.

Step 2: Connect Your Device

Use the USB cable provided in the box to connect your Trezor® wallet to your computer. Upon connection, your device will prompt you to either install the Trezor Suite desktop app or continue using the web version.

Step 3: Install Firmware

Step 4: Create a New Wallet

Now it’s time to create a new wallet. This process will generate a recovery seed — a list of 12 or 24 words that represent the private keys to your wallet.

⚠️ Important: Write your recovery seed down on paper and store it somewhere safe and offline. Do not take a photo or save it on your phone or computer.

Your recovery seed is the ONLY way to recover your funds if your device is lost, stolen, or damaged. Trezor does not store this information and cannot help you recover your wallet if you lose the seed.

Step 5: Set a PIN Code

For extra security, you’ll be prompted to set a PIN code. This PIN will be required every time you access your Trezor® device. Choose a code that is secure yet memorable.

If someone tries to guess your PIN and enters it incorrectly too many times, the device will wipe itself to protect your assets.
